Smaller Sub-Reddit Success so Far

So I chose a smaller sub-reddit and two of my videos are at the top of the hot posts right now, first time at the top. Not sure how effective this will be, but it can't hurt to be at the top of any list. For those of you that have animals, bring it on! lol... The sub-reddit is Gentle Animals, I've gotten 22 upvotes and 12 upvotes within 1 day and now have the top two listed videos. Post yours and see if you can take me down! I'm trying to figure out how the ranking goes and how things make it to the front main page. Right now I'm taking baby steps one at a time.

Yeah, a lot of people post their videos to r/videos or r/funny and they get downvoted into oblivion, so smaller subreddits are generally safer, provided they are appropriate to your content. That's cool, glad it worked out for you!

I'm deathly afraid of reddit :3 I don't think I'll ever post a video there.
