What do you guys think is the best software for recording a game against lag/freeze, and how can you add a cam screen of yourself in the corner while showing the game itself also?

I've personally got a program called PlayClaw 5 which does not give me any lag at all, you can see your FPS in the corner too. You can set it up to record webcam too and put it where you wish. It's on Steam for £30
 
I use FRAPS and i never have problem with that program. So recommended fraps. About cam screen or facecam, while you playing game and record with some program, put webcam or mobile or whatever you have and record yourself, after edit those videos and put yourself where you want. Simple. :)
 
Hmmm, some of the best screen recorders that don't cause very much lag are- dxtory, fraps, action
 
i use Action! best one to use and i think its around 20 - 40£ the dearest will be for commercial use. you can use it as screen capture of your desktop, record game and another feature i have forgotten you can also use it as live steam with a small monthly fee. oh and you can add the option to record your webcam with your game plus able to record system sounds and can mute / unmute your mic.

but if you want software i would say adobe premiere or sony vegas as you can overlay your webcam footage in the gameplay.
