trying to come up with some funny skit ideas for a video, but not sure what to do.

Try come up with something thats relevant.
Two things about comedy. The unexpected can be funny and making fun of things everyone does and can relate to can be funny.
That's something I usually take into account when writing skits. Don't rely on others, then 1. its not truly yours and 2. you won't be able to perform their funny idea to the best it can be. They may have a joke but you couldn't perform in in a way they knew it would be funny.
Try it yourself, you will surprise yourself with what can be funny. Look at Pewdiepie
