Simple animation program for intros/outtros

Hey guys I'm looking for a good simple animation program that I can use to create an intro and maybe an outro. Basically I wanted to make my logo (its the cat in my avatar) fly up, shoot some barrels, and then fly off the screen all in about 10 seconds. I also want it to have a simple 8 bit animation style to it like the oldschool snes games. So what program would you recommend to do that?

After effects is pretty good for it I've made a little vlog text intro and an animated character intro with it :) It's not exactly simple but its really good for it if you know the basics on how to make keyframes

I use motion 5, its quite expensive but really good i would definitely recommend it
My right ear really enjoys the commentary on your videos lol should balance that dude.. (I checked your channel if you did any GFX/VFX didn't seem so but sort that right ear microphone sound out)

Adobe After Effects is the most advanced but also quite difficult. I would recommend download the trial version of Sony Vegas.

I already have sony Vegas 13! I didn't even know that there was animation in that. Okay then Time to look up a You Tube tutorial, thanks for your help everyone.

Not many of these programs are simple for animation.
Blender (Free)
Cinema 4D ^ alternative
Sony vegas pro. -ALL paid except Blender
After effects.[DOUBLEPOST=1408483647,1408483593][/DOUBLEPOST]Depends on the type of animation, 2D, 3D? anime? cel animation? Flash? In 3D the industry standard is MAYA or 3D Studio http://usa.autodesk.com . If you are a student (with a .edu email) they can be downloaded for free. Otherwise they cost around $4000. Blender is the free alternative for 3D.

For 2D animation you have Anime Studio http://anime.smithmicro.com/index.html which is a powerful tool to do anime type of characters. It has lip synching capabilities. Not expensive. Flash by Adobe is of course powerful and used extensively worldwide. http://www.adobe.com/products/flash.html

Finally Flipbook is an entry level. simple animation software http://www.digicelinc.com/
Hope this helps[DOUBLEPOST=1408483706][/DOUBLEPOST]http://www.bloopanimation.com/animation-software/[DOUBLEPOST=1408483725][/DOUBLEPOST]Very useful link ^^^^^^^
