Should you age restrict your videos!?

Hey!
I'm doing an Outlast playthrough and it can be pretty graphic at times. Should I age restrict them right away? Or should I just wait until someone flags it? I ask this because sometimes the age restrictions stops people from watching it because they aren't currently logged into their YouTube account and it hinders views. Thanks!

I think they should know what they are getting them selfs in too before watching the video, maybe you could leave a little warning before the video telling them that it could be a graphic video. But other than that I don't think you should be forced in to having to restrict the video, and even if you did some people have fake accounts where they lie about their age, so it woulden't really work anyway.

So in a nutshell no I dont think you should restrict the video.

Pewds didn't age restrict his Outlast vids and his views wouldn't have even been hindered by it, so I think you'll be fine not age restricting it.

Any first time offense would probably net you a warning. Either way I'm fairly certain that you don't HAVE to age restrict anything but stuff involving nudity. Just censor those two guys who run around with their dicks hanging out and you'll be okay.

IF a video does get flagged for needing to be age restricted what are the penalties?
Nothing, age gates don't carry strikes. Also for the record your video can still be flagged for inappropriate content even if you age restrict it yourself.
