Should I upload everyday? Will it affect views?

I wanted to know if I upload a new video everyday if that would affect the views of each of the videos, should I upload a video then wait for a couple more days to upload a new video so that the previous upload has time to get more views, I really want to make videos everyday but I'm not sure if it will slow down traffic to each video since I keep posting new ones. P.S. I make football/soccer videos.

I myself currently upload every 2-3 days. For what I've seen and heard of other youtubers, if you upload every day it's going to intimidate people, especialy with lets plays or multi-part video's. When people get to your page they won't know what to watch first. My advice, wait till you have a pretty good subscriber base, with a lot of visitors on your vids before posting one every day.
Also, I'm not sure but it's possible that you'll get less views from search if you post every day as a small channel because of how youtube works.

For me as a comedy channel, uploading 1 or 2 a week works well for me cuz it builds up anticipation for the fans.
As a fan myself, I watch a lot of different youtubers and I'd rather the youtubers upload less than everyday cuz I cant keep up with their videos and I end up missing videos. Sometimes I find them weeks later, sometimes I dont.

Ok I make football/soccer videos and have 76k subs, is that a large enough fan base?

I guess it depends. My video views eventually get what I'm expecting which is about 40 views for 98 subscribers and I post 5 days a week. I think it depends what you're about though.

O______O.... There goes my feeling of selfworth. but yes, I think it'll do. But the point stays, it's important to keep check at how many re-curring visitors you have. It's possible not a good idea to post every day if views are less than your subs. And, if you're still unsure about it, you can always do a "test period" and see how it goes, but let your viewers know what your plans are :)

Hmmm...I never realized that. Guess I'll have to redo my schedule. Oh wait...I don't have one...But thanks for the info though :)

It all depends on your type of content. I host a daily vlog channel. Which makes sense. But if it is a sketch channel that takes weeks to produce that is just silly. Those who do gameplay commentary could easily put that together. You sit down and play one night and have material for a week or more. On my old game channel I was uploading 3 a day, and then my daily vlogs and then a 3 day a week sketch channel. It all depends on how you manage your time and cost per time in relation to your payout.
