Should I stay with Adobe premiere pro, or go with Avid?

I have Adobe Premiere Pro right now, and i love it, its easy to use and its very similar to Final Cut Pro (which is what I was taught in my sophomore year in college). I heard about Avid Media composer, and i am trying to figure out which one would work better. I do gaming videos, if that makes a difference.

Thanks for the help!

If you have Premiere Pro or Vegas Pro, there is no reason to switch and certainly no price justification.

Just stick with Premier.

I have AVID Media Composer, FCP, Premier and Edius and use them all for different clients and such.
If you have Premier it is going to do everything you need for your video's. Why go and spend more money on a new Editing software? You will then get it and have to learn it and going from one Editing software to another can be annoying.

I haven't used the second program you use but I use Premiere CS6 and I love it! It does't what I want and need and when I need to include a picture without a white background I can add in a Photoshop picture.

Thanks guys! I figured I should stay with premiere, but I wasnt sure if AVID was more powerful.

Well I think before you switch that you should compare the 2 side by side and see what the strengths and weakness of the 2 are and then see what you need it for.
