Should I start a vlogging channel?

Well, my gaming channel is getting ready to make it's close for a few years, why? I don't have the equitment to continue for now. BUT! I do have the equitment to vlog and have rants, should I start a vlog/rant/ramble channel? Just looking for a direction to go

You should definitely try VLOGGING because you have got all the equipment for that. Trying different techniques and niche is essential tool to realize where your success actually stands. Don't think, JUST DO IT.

As long as you think it doesn't put any more stress on you for creating videos, I'd say go for it. Doesn't really harm anything, and sometimes it's just a good idea to diversify yourself in order to discover new areas of opportunity and discussion.
