Should I Plan A Series in Advance?

I've Got It
Hey guys. I've been planning a Dark Souls series hoping to have one video a week. I've started to realize that it will take a bit longer to record, write a script and edit than I originally thought. So should I plan the whole series in advance before putting out the first video? How far in advance do you guys plan your videos? Any help is appreciated!

I'd recommend releasing them as they come. It would give you the time to be able to change your mind on something, and not have to scrap any videos if you want to change things.

Why are you planning on scripting them may I ask? I never really plan my videos unless they are on a serious topic.

Instead of a regular Let's Play, I want to tell a story through a Journal that acts as a log of my/my characters thoughts and deeds through the journey. I want to write it a certain way, so it eats up a ton of time. It will also act as my script for voice overs.

Dino: I guess that's plausible. It's my first set of videos so I want to make sure they're pristine, haha.

Well for what you're planning to do, I recommend record the gameplay first for the longest you can in a sitting. Maybe you can make there a few videos like 2 - 3. Write your script and do the voice over I guess.

I say it to do that way since if you plan on doing a script and then record the gameplay things will not go the same way since Dark Souls is kinda unpredictable and hard for as a far as I have play into the game.
