Should I not be A LETS play channel

Okay I know theres tons of them but, I was thinking about making one. I gonna go back and make youtube videos again just trying to figure what Im gonna make. I working on some song parodies but, what type gameplay should I upload? I really wanna make a lets play since all I play now is singleplayer games. Was thinking of doing retro lets plays too. Should I be not a lets play channel?

If you decide to start a Let's Play channel then you should upload videos of the games YOU want to play, and be aware it's a very crowded field now. Unless you devote CRAZY amounts of time to promoting your channel all over the internet, to the point where some people will wish you actual physical harm, I personally don't think you'll see much success as a Let's Play-only channel.

Mixing up your content is a sensible idea, and short videos like song parodies can serve as great "gateway" videos to your other content.

You should pick a game no one is doing let's play videos on or do a popular game when it first comes out so you can grab SEO power
