I think you are using the perfect lengths. People who watch these go pro videos are willing to spend time watching em.

If you need more factual data, I would check out your audience retention rates in YouTube Analytics.

15min+ video people tend to just watch halfway

BTW in all of your videos put the EXACT model of your go pro in the title and tags, that will get more views. Check this format.
