Should I have more than one channel?

I've Got It
I just monitized a few of my videos for the first time and it has me inspired to make more videos and expand my use of youtube. My issue is that I have several ares of interest. Some of which would seem not to go well together. My most popular videos so far have to do with reloading ammo for firearms. Another interest I have is growing sprouts and juicing. A lot of the people who would want to watch my sprouting videos would be vegans. Many of who would likely not approve of my firearms videos. So my question is, do I start a separate youtube account for my sprouting/juicing videos or, is there a way to create separate channels within the same account. If I start a new channel, will it take me a long time to get to the place where I can monitize the videos in my new account?
 
I'd say start a separate channel. I have two channels that I use. One for gaming/Misc and another for Real life/Vlogging.
 
So, as I look at the other threads in this section I thinl I put this thread in the wrong place. Can anyone tell me where a more appropriate section would be?

I say this post belongs to the Strategies and Techniques section.
 
So what do you people think? Do I need more than one channel or is there a way to subdivide the channel I have.

It has taken me a long time to monitize the videos I have. If I start a new channel am I starting from scratch on that channel?
 
unfortunately there no way to create multiple channel from the same account so you will have to create a new one and start from scratch, and it takes tine to be able to monetize your videos but if your really passionate about it then it will be worth the wait. if your more worry about monetizing then i would recommend not starting the channel because you wont put your content as your priority.
