Internet Idiot who loves making people laugh
I uploaded a video 2 years ago, and it got a copyright claim so i cannot monetise it and it cannot be viewed in certain countries, I was hoping to hopefully dispute this, this is what I am planning on writing
"I entered this video into a competition a couple of years ago, and was told the video was too long to be entered so it got withdrawn and I entered a different video instead which never got copyrighted, however this video somehow got given a copyright claim and has been blocked in several different countries. I have never really understood why and would like if possible for this to be disputed. If this isn't an error then I can completely understand and I will accept that, I would just like to know if this is at all possible and what parts of the video are copyrighted, as I have people in the blocked countries who would like to be able to view this video again
Thankyou for your time!"
Would this be classed as a fradulent claim? it has over 130k views and would have been great for monetisation I understand if I cannot monetise it but I want to at least be able to get it unblocked in the blocked countries, should I ask if I could monetise it again as well or not? I don't want to lose my youtube account completely!
Should I give it a go?
The video was an app review where i didn't really show much footage at all and there is no music in the background, i think it was claimed by the people behind the competition but i'm really not sure
