Short Film all on Sony Vegas 12 NOT Final Cut

Hey guys, I just want to show you this short film I made with Sony Vegas because people think you MUST have Final Cut Pro to make beautiful film. Here is what sony vegas is capable of doing

Noone claims that you must have final cut, I've always used Sony Vegas, 9/10 people I know who are big Youtuber's use Vegas. It's just personal preferance, nothing more. (Though I have considered joining the After Effects master race on several occasions)

You should get After Effects.. but please use it for what it is meant to be used... as something to do effects after your edit.. please don't use it as an editing software...

Nice short.. so my question is did you shoot the footage or was it stock footage?

I have seen amazing shorts shot on Imovie and windows movie maker... I think the all editing tools can be used to edit wonderful stuff if the footage you are using is shot well.
 
I have used both Vegas and Final cut pro I think you can accomplish pretty much the same ting on both softwares but I would say final cut pro is easier for beginners and vegas more advanced
 
I used to use Vegas for all sorts of things.. used Final Cut Pro 7 for about a week and hated it, but I love and swear by Premiere Pro CS6.. it's just heavenly.
 
I use both vegas and the new final cut. If you learn to deal with all its nuances, you realise that it is just as advanced and has a learning curve as high as vegas, it just looks a bit like iMovie to the untrained eye :p
