Settings while recording?

Hey guys,
I have recently brought and elgato and set it up perfectly but what I was wondering is how to work the live commentary part of it? I have set up my blue yeti and have that select click the button so I can live commentate but then my game audio which I have already set lower makes more noise than myself even though I set it to minus 8, if anyone can help me out it will be very appreciated,

I have everything default apart from the bitrate. But with the Elgato you need to make sure you have the settings so that it exports the commentary separately. I'm not too good at explaining it but they had a new update that allows it which I'd assume you have if it's new, Google the new features. Make the rest of the adjustments in the production stage.

I have the Elgato and I just find it just trial and error. There is no set setting you have to use, just what ever sound good to you.
