Set Up Missing Piece....

Chance C

I Love YTtalk
So, I have some money to spend and I was wondering what would be good to upgrade and stuff like that really.

My set up as follows;

32" TV Monitor
Microphone (Starrz, Good quality)
Elgato HD60,
Gaming Sades Headphones
Logitech Keyboard
Some weird optical glowy mouse.

I have no speakers, because whats the point I have a hardcore gaming headset. I am wondering on a webcam, but I am not 100% sure if I want one yet. If anyone can recommend anything to me which I could get, mic brands, speaker brands stuff like that. It would be helpful. Feel like I am missing something in my set up though..

I find facecams distracting in gaming videos, so I think there's nothing missing.

I personally never recommend anything with the word "gaming" in the product name. This is a common term that simply means "more expensive for no reason". For headphones, I buy nothing but Sennheiser and have yet to be disappointed.

I've also never heard of Starz mics and I'm one of the resident audiophiles on the forum, so take that for what you will. If you're looking at doing much in the way of upgrades, mic quality of a proper standalone microphone over headset mics is IMO always a good idea. AudioTechnica AT2020, MXL550, Shure SM58, Samson C01U are all mid-tier mics that will blow any headset mic out of the water for audio quality.

Er yea basically everything Tarmack said.
Other than that, PC upgrade?

My Gaming PC is new, I built it around xmas time. Starz mics is a real cheap budget microphone I first bought, It has not let me down and the audio quality of it is truly wonderful (You wouldn't believe how good it is if i didnt tell you it was a cheap one). I dont really want to buy a webcam as of yet as I dont really need it as such, but I will do in September / June when I start live streaming on twitch.
