Series or Standalone Videos

I've Got It
Hey guys, just want some opinions on this as it would greatly help me.

On my channel I normally release 2 videos a week, both part of a series' i am making
"What NASA Observes"
"Science In the News"

These are pretty much the only videos im releasing at the moment and every video gets about 10 subscribers to my channel as I am still very small and about 300-400 views. Yesterday I changed this around and made a standalone video about "50 Facts about our Mother Earth". This has gained significantly more traction than my other videos and was wondering do you think it could be the deviation from the series that has lead to this?

I hope you understand, thanks guys!

Personally I'd recommend having ongoing series while making one off videos when you have an idea for one. Best of both worlds!

200% that what I would do in a perfect world but making 2 videos a week is quite straining on my time with Uni and extra things like that and unfortunately I never run out of ideas for these videos. Science is endless and there are thousands of nooks and crannies with some of the most mind melting information that nobody has ever heard of!

I might try and reduce my "Science In the News" as that takes longer to write and record that "What NASA observes"

In that case your could rotate it somehow. So over two weeks have one Science in news, one standalone and two what NASA observes.

You're videos sound super interesting though man, I'll remember to check em out when I finish my coursework! :)

I have watched a few if your videos now, they are very interesting but I definitely agree with the above.

Thanks guys, yeah I think I will defiantly try and create a rotor! Out of curiosity which would you be more inclined to watch, my next videos will be "Science In the News" and"Deadliest Colours in the world"

Hmmmmm, depends on the news, do you put that in the title or anything? Otherwise deadliest colours :)
