Seeking CHANNEL ARTWORK creation ADVICE

Hey there everybody I am desperately searching for new innovative ways to make my youtube channel look more professional like and I believe that one way to do so is to make artwork (logo, channel artwork) for my channel. ANY TIPS?!?!?

When you say 'artwork' do you mean drawings? can you do them? if not, can you find someone that does?

Sometimes keeping things simple can have a greater effect than over complicating things. Do you use Photoshop? You're a musician right? I just checked out your page and you play guitar? What about a guitar in the background? Things like that, that will relate to your channels content.

As far as logos go, you can often find that you can make them yourself by manipulating the words of your channel, for example with SYNC, you could have a big S and then fit YNC into the arch of the top part of the S, if you get what I mean.

I see what you mean... To be honest, I have a logo and channel banner (that's what I meant by artwork) but I wanted to know how to make it look more professional like.

Try playing around with 'Blending Options' to make fonts stand out, I see that you added a shadown to your font, maybe add some 3D 'bevel and emboss'; stuff to make it stand out, mess about with different fonts. download some for free, try different colours.

It's just trial and error mate, when you get to a point where you're happy with it and you think it looks good, keep it :)

It looks pretty cool actually! What program did you use? I'm going to use it just until I can make one more suitable for me! But you went through that work to make me this so I might as well use it for a bit! Thanks for it and I added a link to your channel on mine! :)

I used Photoshop. I don't mind if you don't use it at all, worse case scenario is that I have another piece for my portfolio :)
