I do gameplay videos, mostly just a Minecraft series so far, and I have great video ideas, but need to refine/edit the videos better to make them as consistently entertaining as possible. I also have trouble trying to talk on the fly at the same time as I'm thinking and playing a game. So, I think I'm going to try to quit stressing about my content so much while I'm recording, and go back and get the best or most relevant footage, and add the audio in after the video itself is finished. If I do that right, and match the game audio volume with my commentary volume, do you think that would help or hurt my entertainment/production value and viewer retention?
