Scheduling Services?

This isn't necessarily for YouTube specifically, but for any sort of video streaming site. Do you, or would you consider using a scheduling service to let people know what is going on/when videos are going up? Being a streamer and YouTuber with a busy life, I can't stick to a specific schedule, as I'm very busy most days, so I personally use a system called TeamUp. You can make different calendars that can all be displayed on the same page, and you can make it so only certain can be seen by certain people. I personally find this useful, as I have my public streaming schedule (that I will regularly update) so that people can always see when a stream is happening, however I use a second private calendar in order to organise different video things. It looks like this. (It says reserved so you don't see my private events haha!)
Here, the red is my private schedule, and the blue is my public one, here is what my followers see!
Here you can see that I can use it to both plan my life, and show people when I'm streaming!
So, would you use a service like this, or do you feel its just as effective simply telling people when you are doing whatever?

We don't use a streaming schedule service, but we do schedule ahead of time on YouTube so it shows a countdown to the stream when it gets to be a few days out-plus it's promoted via in-video programming, so that's led to plenty of interaction whenever we stream.

If you aren't using YouTube to stream, take advantage of the new branded intros under in-video programming. Program it to plug whatever site you stream on and only have it on when you are live.

That's a pretty good idea actually, I might use that as well!

I sometimes use https://hootsuite.com/ to schedule tweets. Most of my tweets are not time dependent and since I have followers from all over the world, it's pretty useful to schedule tweets to be published to users in all timezones.

Yeah, I just use Tweetdeck in general because I prefer it to twitter, and I tend to schedule tweets for certain things.
