I've Got It
So guys I was looking into buying this mic as I really liked the way it sounded when used correctly ... But the question is do you all find it as good as me ? Cause I might like it but if the masses don't ... its kind of a derp move o.o

As far as I remember pewds used it ... but not always correctly

Pewds used it for a little while. But from the fact that he didn't use it for long it must have it's flaw. I'd say it's best to go for something else, maybe an AT-2020 if you've got the money.
 
CO1U is actually a pretty decent mic. Though it doesn't pick up your sound as good as an Audio Technica AT2020 or a Blue Yeti. Those are a little more expensive btw.
 
I'd go AT2020

I have a Samson C01U. It does a pretty decent job, it's major flaws imo is it's sensitivity.

You have to go about adjusting the recording volume settings and it's sort of like a shower handle. Adjust it too far to the left and you can barely hear, adjust it too far to the right and everything is clipping/distorted. The difference between a recording level of 85% to 90% feels like a jump from 30% to 110%

I've never heard of that mic :p sorry. But I'll just move this thread to the Video Editing, Recording, Software and Hardware section of the forum for you.
 
I will probably go for at 2020 in the future as my parents probably wont let me buy it as it is little to expensive for a new hobby ( i.e youtubing )[DOUBLEPOST=1394348119,1394280672][/DOUBLEPOST]Actually ... or should I go for a meteor ? Cause that sounds fine too ? but am not sure ... does it give as warm as audio as a CO1u ?
 
Have you heard of the Audio Technica ATR2500? It's somewhat cheaper than the 2020 and has the same if not better sound quality.
