I posted this a couple days ago. I saw it on Chelsea Lately and I'm sure it has been on other TV shows. I'm sure a lot of people came to it from seeing it on TV.
 
It's raw, real, heartfelt and involves babies. That's just my guess. I think that if anyone were able to actually dissect a viral video enough to know what makes it go viral, they would be making a lot of money right now.

Do not forget and the stochastic/random probability effect. Some videos will become viral just because of pure chance and some other even more cute and original will not. It is just - who shred it in the first few hours and so on difficult to predict things.
