RPM Says That My Google Adsense is Disabled- But I NEVER Had Adsense? Any advice?

Hi all. I've got a strange problem trying to partner my channel with a third party network. And before anyone tells me I should go to the network ;-), - the problem is with Google/Youtube. Please bear with me for what will likely be a LONG post, and MANY thanks to the folks who are willing to read through the whole thing to help a fellow Youtuber.

Okay- so I was never a Youtube partner and never signed up for Adsense. Back in August, I signed up with the TGN partnership network. I didn't like the network and asked to be removed. This happened in mid-November. When I was removed from TGN, I found that I was now a full Youtube partner(without ever signing up for the "honor"). I have full partner rights like banners, custom thumbs, and monetization.

I recently tried to sign up with a new gaming network - RPM, and was told that they couldn't partner me because my channel's adsense had been DISABLED. The problem is- I NEVER signed up for Adsense, either before signing with TGN or after leaving them. I also have an account in good standing with no copyright strikes, and my youtube account says that it is "enabled for monetization"(although I have NO videos monetized right now because I need RPM partnership as I do gaming videos).

So I have no idea what to do?

I'm thinking that maybe the reason RPM thnks my Adsense is "disabled" is because I have a full Youtube partnership account with no Adsense attached? And I can't attach one since I do gaming videos which aren't allowed with Adsense/non-network. Does anyone have any advice or tips?

Well you are allowed to link Adsense to your youtube account as long as you do not monetize I think. (In settings you can turn of advertisements on your channel) So when you enable turn off all.

So yes I would try to contact both TGN & Rpm with info about this problem. And if nothing helps you could try to add adsense to your account and try again. If the account is linked trough adsense RPM can release it and maybe it is problem solved.

Are you really sure you are out of tgn? It has 30 days notice to leave. And I heard there has been a delay.

Good luck eitherway!!

It's a glitch with the tool they use to check it. I work for a PhazerTV and this issue has come up before they just have to wait and sooner or later the partnering company works out adsense isn't disabled and you'll get a cms invite sooner or later, or try enabling or getting adsense so you can just get release emails to activate your partnership but tbh the only person you should be getting instructions from is rpm

Skenkee: Thanks for the advice. The problem I'm having is- my parting with TGN was NOT an amicable one. They held my channel for 35 days, ignored emails, etc. I had to bug the hell out of them to get it released, so I don't think they'll offer much help. And RPM just keeps telling me- "we can't help you until Adsense is enabled. Only Google can help you with this"... Well I've sent the emails to Google, but who knows when or IF any answers will come.

I'm definitely considering just trying to add Adsense to my account, since I have the signup link available, but I'm just worried about getting a REAL and PERMANENT deactivation of Adsense since I have gaming videos and since Youtube seems to be reporting that I HAVE an adsense that is disabled(multiple applications for adsense is a perma-ban offense. So- er no idea what to do. I've got 3800 subs and 280,000 monthly views on my account and I don't want to lose them. :(

Fifa: Thanks for the advice. Any idea how long it usually takes for this to get worked out. As I mentioned above- RPM just keeps telling me "we can't help you until Adsense is activated". It's VERY frustrating that they're not even bothering to offer any extra help, explanation, or advice on how I should proceed. I mean- my channel certainly isn't huge, but I thought it might at least be big enough that it wouldn't be put in the "canned email response/we don't give a crap" pile at RPM :D
