Roxio HD Pro Setup Problems

GISALEGEND

I've Got It
Hi everyone, I tried setting up my roxio hd pro today, I set it up via HDMI cables and followed instructions yet nothing happened, had no signal on my HDMI channel and was like lost lol.

The setup is apparently correct and my only issue is my netbook can't run roxio due to screen res has to be at least 1024 x 768. However I want to know should I still get a signal on my screen without capturing yet, as would be good to know what I'm doing right and wrong.

As I'm thinking of trying my other netbook but would imagine would have same problem so i'm assuming going to have go with my laptop. Hope someone can help with this.

Thanks everyone as want to get recording again soon lol

I also have a Roxio HD Pro, I believe my screen resolution is 1440x1080. I think, I can't remember specifically. Anyways, that works perfectly fine for me. I have found the Roxio HD Pro software sometimes has a difficult time picking up the signal. What I usually do if it's being wonky is I just have the xbox(or whatever your recording) on, and all the HDMIs in the correct places, and the USB into the computer/laptop/netbook and then open the software.

That's what I have been having to do lately, I'm not sure why it does that, but it has a better time picking it up if you have everything set up, and then you launch the recording software.

I have a Roxio HD PRO but I work with component cables, because Ps3 doesn't support HDMI to Roxio so i use component and it works for Ps3, Ps3 and Wii.

Thanks for this everyone, as will try my laptop tomorrow and hope say 1440x1080 or something else works fine for it :D
