Ive just received a Rode VideoMic Pro, which won't be used for YouTube but more for shooting video of the kids etc.
Nevertheless, just been testing and I get a background buzzing when using the +20DB setting, but not much, if any at all, at the 0DB setting?
Everything Ive read on this unit praises it at 20DB, but Im finding it clear etc at 0DB.
Am I missing something??
Ive been through my camera settings (Canon 70D) and can't find any audio settings to change......[DOUBLEPOST=1388408851,1388405351][/DOUBLEPOST]Ignore!
I still had the camera on the auto setting! lol
Set it to Program AE and adjusted audio to manual and turned the DSLR gain right down, and no more buzzing via the Rode Mic
