Ring Light question

On amazon there are 2 18inch neewer ring light kits- one for $120 and another for $90.

The only difference I can see between the 2 kits is that the $120 version comes with “a smartphone holder.” Also the $120 version came out a year later. Is that the only difference? Are they charging $30 more for a smartphone holder included ....or is the $90 version an older worse model?

Search amazon for 10088612 to see $120 light, 10086031 to see $90 light

I don’t want to spend $120 if I don’t have to. Thx
 
If the only difference is a smartphone holder, then just get it if you use a smartphone to record. If you don't, then you don't need a light with a smartphone holder if you use a camera. It just depends on your preference. You don't have to spend the $30 if you don't want to, it's up to you.
 
I have a bunch of neewer products and I will say from experience that the newer and more expensive is typically better as they will have likely improved their product over the year.
