Loving YTtalk
I'm currently partnered with Machinima and have gone through the two known areas of support (general email as well as this place called the "help desk") to try and speed up the appeal process on two ridiculous flagged videos I have.....but does anyone know if there are any other methods?
I have "top 5" FIFA videos where I break down the top 5 players, yada yada. Its a FIFA 15 gameplay and I have hundreds of videos, as well as theres hundreds posted by other Youtubers the same style and I've never had a problem....ever in 2 years of Youtubing.
Then during the last week, I've received two community guideline strikes and have the two week uploading ban on my channel. I believe they both have been deemed "Inappropriate" which is ludicrous....its a FIFA 15 commentary. I've appealed both video claims as well as kept them on my channel to help my case, rather than delete, but someone is purposely flagging my videos and YouTube has in no way done their due diligence to find that these claims are bogus...plus from quick researching it says it can take up to 6 months for an appeal to be processed? WTF
Its incredibly frustrating and it doesn't seem like there's much I can do. Its a peak gaming period with popular games like Call of Duty, Destiny, and GTA 5 out...and now I have some bogus community guideline strikes preventing me from uploading content. Considering I pull in $200+/month for a relatively small, yet active channel you think they would actually look into the claims and see that their just someone trolling or some s**t like that.
Like there has to be some efficient appeal process....I can imagine the massive YouTubers in the gaming division like KSI/Pewdiepie etc have their videos get flagged all the time for false things.
I dont know if theres a better way to go through with this be it through Machinima or YouTube but one more of these horrendously false flaggings and my channel hits that 3 strike rule and risks termination.
