Review Idea + Game Script

I've been wanting to do reviews for awhile now, but I never know whats the most effective way to even start planning a review video. If anyone could point some pointers for me? I am going to be doing a review on technology or anything related to gaming really.

Also. I am going to be making a list of games I have plus my personal opinion of the game. I was curious if I should have gameplay as I talk or just pictures floating around as I make a vlog type video.

For games: Gameplay, Game mechanics, Graphics, Balancing (if its appropriate for the game), overall feel of the game and end with your personal opinion of the game. You could review it as game play that you recorded plays in the background and time specific clips to play when you are talking about something that is related to the clip. Try both gameplay and vlog style and see which one is more successful

Make sure it's structured and constructive. If you hold up a copy of the game in a vlog and say it was a great game, that's not a review lol Break the game down into elements/sections.

Good luck with the review, they can take a while if you do them right. But, if you do it well, I'm sure it will turn out great.
