Review for a struggling channel

Hi there I am David, aka 04zaz the commander of the home for bad strategy. I have been trying to be a YouTube for the past five or so years on and off. Recently I feel as though my channel has been struggling this past year, and I am unsure as to why which is really demoralising. I understand patience but when you see your channel with 2000 subs barely break 10 views a video it does become a bit much. So please review away to see if you guys can pinpoint the problem

Just a thought. Maybe this game your playing is not very popular therefore wont get as many views. Maybe try covering a more popular demanding game and see if your views adjust. I'm no pro by any means just merely a thought man. You commentary is great though.
 
I agree with Brian about game choice might have something to do with it. Other things are, do you use tags effectively? Are you part of other communities. I know you posted here but do you go on the reddit pages of the games you play or forums about the games or let's plays in general? Are you actively watching and commenting on other YouTube channel and videos? Doing that kind of promoting and community building might help revive your channel a little.
Your commentary and voice are great, your content is good (Though sometimes a little slow in some of the games) and overall it looks good. The only other nitpick I had was in your Valkary Chronicles play you should turn up the in game audio during the cutscenes because they are pretty soft to listen to by themselves.

Maybe. I know that I need to look into better tagging. While I am no slouch when it comes to certain tag ideas, I am no way an expert. I think I will take the idea up for spreading it across forums, you have to be careful though as many game reddits have rules against posting lps on them. I believe CK2 is one of those but I have not checked for a little bit. Hopefully 2017 will bring what is needed.

i like your commentary choice... but you need to find a more popular game choice.. people wont watch if its a game the average person has never or never plans to play.
