Revenue beyond YouTube / What do you do?

I'm still studying right now. However, once I reach 5000 subscribers, which I expect to be soon, I'll have a Patreon for people to support me.

So besides ad sense or whatever on Youtube, have you guys done other video work to make a living beyond YouTube? I have always made videos for a living for companies, but my most recent project for a tech start up I am actually doing comedy on the video, kind of like a spokes person with some double work like on my channel... Even one of the characters I named "Todd" in the video, haha... (BVB fans will get it, haha)

Seemed kind of like making a video for my own channel in a sense.... without the cursing, haha.... if it gets approved, which they're talking like they love it, I'll share it up on my channel

But has anyone else done this? Work outside your channel OR characters on your channel on different formats for other forms of income?

I'm Curious what the heck else you guys do for a living? haha
I don't do video stuff for work but I'd love to find something where I could make money from photography or videography or something of that nature. My buddy actually quit his job and tried to start up his own company because of my YouTube videos. He hasn't hit it big or anything, but he is getting some clients. I'm currently a Laser System Technician, that's how I feed myself and pay off the mortgage and car payments lol. My YouTube and online earnings are just supplemental income, it is good enough to pay for my cameras and equipment so I'm happy with that.

I work in a movie theater as an Assistant Manager. It was a high school job that turned into a college job and then after I graduated the insurance was so amazing every job I apply to either makes more but then the insurance sucks, or makes the same and has worse insurance. I've now been there for over 8 years. Once we pay off our debt I hope to be able to stay home for a few years while my kids are small. My work life is boring and it sucks having a job where I sometimes have to clean up puke and get yelled at on a daily basis. One day I will have a grown up job!

I'm the IT Systems Administrator for a motorhome and Chevrolet dealership and have been there for 8 years now. I learned at least half of everything I know about computers while working there. We have almost 250 employees. I do all the active directory stuff, I'm currently working on upgrading our Exchange 2010 server to 2016, and I run around and fix stuff for people on their computers with the help of our helpdesk technician. It's cool because I can also make my YouTube videos there at work. I make enough to support my wife and 2 kids, pay the rent and car payment and all the bills, though I'm sure my wife would like to have some more spending money. I currently use my YouTube ad revenue to make payments on our credit card and I'm hoping to pay it off soon. Then it will probably go to medical bills.
