Replacing a Video on Youtube

Hey everyone, it's me, Courtney

I was just wondering, does anyone now how to replace an existing video on Youtube like say I uploaded a video and I made a mistake in the editting like spelling a word wrong in a sing-a-long, is there anyway to accually update the video? Just wondering.

Vimeo does have a replace video option youtube doesn't sadly.

If it is a small mistake, you could put an annotation over the top. Otherwise you have the joy of re-uploading.

Good advice here. Annotations are the best option you have really. (without re-upload) Obviously, this won't work in all cases, but could depending on your situation. It's a fairly common practice to correct something that has changed or where someone misspoke. See it all the time.
