Recording Vlogs Help

I Need Your Help
So I currently make funny vlogs for my channel but I only use my Iphone for this, the camera is pretty good but sometimes its really fuzzy and I'm not sure how it looks in HD. Do you think I should buy a better recorder for my videos and how much would it be? I don't want to spend over £200. Any help would be appreciated :)

You could get a HD camcorder for $200 no problem :) at least then it'd be better quality and you could rest it on something rather than having a shaky video.

Lots of people record on iphones and it's not a problem. Maybe just wait until you get a bigger fan base and when they actually say something about camera quality then change it up :)

You could use anything that records, although camcorders and cameras are made to record things. So quality will be better, but it's just on what you want to do. Either way works out

Yeah that's true, I guess that could work, Iphone camera isn't that bad but I made get my fan base up quicker If I had better quality that's what I'm thinking?

Then go ahead! I thought you asked if it's necessary. But yeah, better quality would draw them in :)

I watched a couple of your vids, and I'm a bit surprised that you video is that blurry with the IPhone... silly, but make sure your lens is clean, if that doesn't fix it, I'm not sure what is causing the blurriness.

The other thing, is always film horizontally. I know on your intro video you had filmed vertically, and so I bet you see the advantage of filming horizontally on your phone.

As Frankie stated though, if you can save up a few hundred dollars, you can get yourself a pretty good cam for that amount of money now a days.

good luck and keep YouTubing!

I do miss the manual settings on an iphone. I do see an improvement in your video's from standing screen to widescreen :) But it is indeed a bit blurry.
If you really love filming etc buy a handy cam. Maybe take a look if it has a mic input just in case. Because the next thing next to a tripod you probably would want to buy is an external mic. It's not necessary but I have seen many people asking for it because they want better sound quality.
And if you don't have a mic input you also need to buy a new camera again in the near future if you decide to add external audio.

Okay, I'll make sure it give it an extra good clean and test it out again. I realised I should film it horizontally as I made more videos so make it fit the whole screen haha and yeah I think I'm going to just save up to get a better one but just use my Iphone for now :D and thank you, will do!

I was looking into buying a tripod so it looks like it would be pretty handy, and yeah that would have to be done in the future as I learn to figure out how to use it lol
