Recording Minecraft?

Almost my entire audience and all my buds on YouTube do Minecraft let's plays and such. I want to do them too, but I only have access to a 10fps recording program until I get a new computer after graduation in May. Should I try it with just 10 frames per second or wait until I get the new Mac? What be the thoughts of the group?

best of waiting... if your getting a mac it'll provide good quality of recording. but if you want cinematic, best you use the mod "minema" & "Camera Studio"... have you heard of those two by any chance?

if you're on PC just now(not sure if this software is mac compatible) then try bandicam its what i switched to from FRAPS cos that was using too much resources on my lappytop xD

I can't download ANYTHING on my current computer. It is a school issued computer.

Get Optifine, the minecraft mod which reduces lag and use FRAPS. If your still getting the same problems, go to task manager (don't know what it is on mac) and set the minecraft process to high.

xP listen guys. I can't get optifine or fraps or anything yet. The only recording software I have only records in 10fps.

I would wait, I don't think 10fps would be watchable for most people but if you test record it first then see how it looks, just ask yourself "would I watch this?" when you watch it back and that'll be your answer.

I would say wait because 10 frames is obviously not that good at all.
