Recording Game Audio and Microphone at the same time

As the tittle says...Im new to all of this so yeah....Im using fraps on windows XP....So yeah how can i do it at the same time.....

You know what I do? I start Fraps and my webcam software at the same time, and edit it in Sony Vegas, so that my face appears on one of the corners of the screen. ^^
 
Well I use total media extreme to record from my pvr. I plan on using camtasia studios and audacity to record my retro emulator series. I'll link ya when its done to see if you like it.
 
Oke oke thanx :) Oh if u know how do you record older 2D games? im gonna do a playtrough of them but fraps just wont work :p
 
Older games can be harder to record but I'd suggest if you're set on using fraps, setting it to record your entire screen. That way you can essentially just crop whatever isn't needed post recording.
 
If you want to record audio and visual with fraps just go to movies > record external input.

Have had the same problems, but it works fine if I set Fraps to recording the whole screen, then I just crop it in SVP 11. Not sure what editing software you use.
