Recording 1080

I want to record the highest HD quality on my canon 700d.

Will it automatically do it in this or do I have to select it in the settings?

Well that is a good question.. Once you set it should stay that setting at least in my experience with Canon's// Just go in and make sure it is set to that and then you should be good.

Try do a test shoot first, and then on the computer check if it is 1080p

To be Honest never worked with the 700D but have used others I am looking at it now.. and looking up its features to see what it says.
