I've Got It
Hello! I make gaming videos and have all rights to publish and monetize them from game owner. But few days ago I received 2 strikes and my 10 videos were removed. I submitted counter-notification and send permission that all is clear and I didnt violate anything. But YouTube gives 10-14 days for claimant to answer. Im 100% sure my videos will be restored.

BUT! What if claimant will not answer on my counter-notification? Looks like my competitors just want to take down my videos for 2 weeks. Its a big harm for my channel.
Help me please what to do in this situation? They gave me 2 strikes at one moment. Is it possible to receive 3 false strikes?

To be safe from 3d strike I made few other videos private and now I need 2 weeks to wait?! How to protect channel from this?

YouTube does check over what the claimant has said before issuing a strike.. They don't just instantly issue it just because a competitor said so.

Videos on my channel and on competitors channel are from same game tournament and they are similar. I show permission from game owner in counter-notification.

I had incident like this in past and after counter notification with permission strike was withdrawn. This time looks like claimant not going to answer..[DOUBLEPOST=1397306933,1397306723][/DOUBLEPOST]I'm so sad. My videos are 100% clear and this is obvious harm for my channel. I have ~20 videos from same game event as on competitors channel and they gave me 2 strikes with no reason... 10 vids goes down and others I made private to be safe from 3rd false strike

If I recall hearing correctly, they drop the claim if you counter & the claimant doesn't reply within a certain time frame? So if they don't answer it might be better for you?

They can't answer anything because I have permission and didn't violate anything.
If they don't answer - my videos will be restored in 10-14 days but its too long for me.

What if they will claim and block my videos constantly, should I wait for 2 weeks every time?

That's how a war goes sadly. But I think if someone makes too many false claims they too suffer consequences that can put their accounts at jeopardy.

And can someone make this claims with false information about yourself? I mean - create a new youtube account and send strikes despite the punishment?

They have to respond with a court order lawsuit document otherwise if they don't provide that, it will automatically be restored. This is how the DMCA act works.

Sorry but i can't help but call that b******t, a friend of mine and a couple of his friends had dmca'd some notable youtubers

One of them is the beloved kidrauhl, if you don't know who's that, that's justin bieber's personal channel, he convinced youtube that he owns the right to distribute the videos on the channel and got 2 down, he didn't get the 3rd one :(

They also got rwj down, but that's eazy since the video owners he stole from, mostly don't understand the basics of youtube.

So yea, dmca system on youtube is a joke, and you only need 2 strikes approved or so before u get all accepted instantly

In a YT forum (i cant post links here, google: "Someone filed a false DMCA counter-claim against me" > See greenflams's & darklordofthedebate's comments) its claimed that the complaint MUST file a lawsuit AND provide PROOF of the lawsuit to YT via a case number or docket number? Can u confirm and/or elaborate?
