i have the ASRock GS FX motherboard an i would like a good quality card that is less than 130. thanks. please provide links if you plan on helping me. thanks again.

I'm in the same boat as you, pal.

I've got a ATI Radeon HD 4200 I'm running now and really need to upgrade. I think $100 is the most I can spend at the moment, though.
I don't really know much about this kind of thing, to be honest. If anyone could give me a hand too, that would be great. I've got my system info saved aside if you need to know anything.

It's kinda crappy. It runs alright Warcraft with a little lag and barely runs Guild Wars 2 with quite a bit of lag, especially on big battles. Both games have to be run on lowest quality. So yeah, upgrade is a must.[DOUBLEPOST=1355360074][/DOUBLEPOST]

No idea about my power supply. I don't know how to find that information short of knowing what to look for on the inside of the case, which I don't.

The ATI 5870 is a powerhouse even though it's a few years old, and I think you can get it for under around 100. You should be able to run a lot of games on high with it.

If you don't care about power consumption. Then go get 5870. But you need to have a 520w 80+ Bronze PSU. Please know your PSU before buying a gpu because the life of your PC depends on it really bad. If it dies, it may damage your components. Thus, more money will be wasted.

I suggest why not go with 3rd gen. It's more future-proof. GTX 650 is really really affordable and can play most games on high, if not on Med-high.:)
