Realistic chances?

My 18th is coming up this Saturday and I want to join a network to kinda help my standing in the YouTube community.

But to put it very bluntly: I suck. Like really.

I post inconsistently, my quality is suffering, I have next to no views and even less subscribers.

What I'm asking is:
Do I have a realistic chance of getting into any partnership, if so, which ones should I look at. If not, what can I do to at least improve myself to a standard where I can apply?

Thanks in advance!!

Be more consistent, and really put forth an effort to improve you videos and promote yourself on forums and facebook and twitter. Building an audience takes time and effort and isn't going to happen over night. It takes time.

Honestly there are a couple of networks that'd let you in, but there's no real reason for you to join one at the moment, grow a bit more, try to be more consistent uploading, and just see what you can do to boost your quality :) Plenty of time to join a network, don't rush into it :)

Awesomeness tv/RPM both would accept you in all likelihood but if you want to join a partnership programme where you actually stand a chance of benefiting from it and not just giving them a % of your earnings in return for nothing then you need to aim for 100+ views daily (ideally closer to 200).

When you said the videos were bad quality I was expecting really bad quality. They are better then you think lol

Thanks. I guess I'm trying to actually motivate myself to do something. My life is not all that interesting, but I really want to vlog. Sometimes I don't know what to say so I don't post for ages, or what I originally planned is just messy so I don't post them up.

I'll keep trying :)

You could always make a schedule! take a day and record the weeks in advance if you have the time. A wise youtuber once said, "Be consistent and have backups (videos) ready."

What MattZ said is sound advice. There are several respected members of these forums with a sizable sub base (in the thousands) that aren't partnered and aren't looking to partner anytime soon. I don't think getting partnered automatically puts you in better standing with the YouTube community.

If anything people are snobby towards which network you are partnered with, so if you make the wrong choice those type of people will look down on you...

If you really want to partner, do your research, ask around here for more information and see where you stand to benefit the most. From what I've learned, if you aren't pulling in a thousand views a day, you can hold off.

Don't join a network just for the sake of being in a network.

You will just be getting a s**t deal with s**t revenue and locked in for years.

Read my signature, and feel free to ask my any questions.... you really don't want to rush into a network..
