It`s just a logo, I put the background there just to make it stand out.

I like it, the N looks a little like an elephant to me What does Nedort mean?

I see it now! It's where the N connects with the G... I like your logo a lot. The color is attention grabbing but not too harsh and the background really complements the text.
Is this for the banner? I think the font might be too big to fit 350px.
