Please for the love of all that is good, if you are a designer and have any sense of respect, do NOT call it GFX. GFX do not exist. Say you're a designer or create designs or are a graphic artist. They sound professional and proper and give our side of the business a sense of respect. People think they can toss around GFX people. But no one will say "oh, screw my designer" because that humanizes you. GFX is comparable to calling the Viet Cong "tangos". Anyways...

good point, there's alot of people claim to be professional and work in the business and use the term GFX :p
 
Maybe what I'm saying is a little hypocritical as I called another a GFX designer earlier, but you do have a point. I do see a lot of paint users spray a airbrush tool, write their name & call themselves somewhat of a GFX designer, & it does reflect on the term. So I'm going to have to agree with you on this one bud! Good rant. n.n

The paint kids have no rights in this anyway haha :p I'm talking about young kids who are starting to make a name for themselves in design. It just makes them look better
