Quick Question About The "Hide These Videos" Option In The My Subscriptions Feed

I signed onto youtube today and went into the my subscriptions feed and when I brought
up the menu to remove some of the unwanted videos I noticed that the "remove this item from feed"
option had been replaced by an option titled "Hide These Videos", and I just have a few questions
about this new option.

1. Does it serve the same purpose as the "remove this item from feed" option?"

2. If it serves a different function from what the "remove this item from feed" option
served what is it?

3. If the items are hidden instead of removed like the menu description states is their
a way to unhide them?

4. With the option title being "Hide these videos" instead of "Hide this video", does that
mean it wil hide every video from that channel from now on?

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Regardless, that "option" is something I frown upon.
