Questions on using TubeBuddy and the Tag Explorer.

Hello all, so I recently got tube buddy and have been using its tag explorer feature. I have been always making sure my title hits a 80/100, highest I have ever got was a 85. Sometimes though this does not seem to help as the videos are only getting roughly 10 views in a day, anyone have any tips to get a higher than 80 score? It seems very difficult sometimes. I do a lot of reaction video and movie review videos so maybe it is just because there is a lot of competition regardless?

It's challenging to get a score that is higher than 80 as you'll need to find something that is obscure enough that nobody is covering but mainstream enough that many are searching - it practically doesn't exist. Doubly hard considering you cover reaction videos which are essentially based on pop-culture which is highly competitive. That said, it isn't just about making sure it is in your title. You'll also want to ensure that you are using multiple high-search, low-competition keywords in your title as well as your raw video file name, your tags, and your description.

I always make sure I word my title and what my video is about in the first 2 lines of my description. For example my title is

'Incarnate | Horror Trailer | Reaction'

My description would then be..

My reaction to the upcoming Incarnate horror movie trailer starring blah blah.

Then I will also tag accordingly.

I was not aware my video file name mattered? I thought when you upload it defaults the filename to your title so you just change the title? My file name is always a crap name or has typos as I never thought it mattered?

The raw file name does make a difference. Not necessarily the difference between 50 and 5000 views, but it is just another piece of metadata that google and youtube search can take into consideration as they can't actually watch the videos. You need to give them as many details as possible in as many ways as possible.

Thanks I was not aware of this, I will make sure then to wait until I get a good title figured out before I upload so I can rename my original file prior to the upload.

The unpopular tags aren't widely searched, most of the time.

I didn't know about this feature either, thanks for the notice!

I would say time and patience. There's always competition. Everybody's chemistry and style is different. Keep up the awesome work and keep pushing through! Really nice channel btw!

Even your thumbnails filename helps and should contain your keywords. But yeah Tubebuddy and proper SEO alone isn't gonna make a big difference if you cannot generate enough views on your own.

Thank you so much for the nice comment! I agree on time and patience though it can be hard at times haha.[DOUBLEPOST=1473043298,1473043146][/DOUBLEPOST]

Oh wow really? Well then time to actually care what I name my video and thumbnail files then! Thanks for the advice, This last week has been nice considering I got around 50 new subs, I just get discouraged a bit when I post 4 videos that all get 200+ some even in the 2-5k view range within a few days then I post some that get 10-50 views.
