Questions about Partnerships and "Click Bombing"

There are major changes almost every year and all those outdated info on the internet are kind of confusing.

Please tell me if I understood this right: There are 3 ways of making money directly by Ads on Youtube in 2015:
- Being a partner with a network
- Being a partner with Youtube
- Not being a partner. Just activating your account for monetization.

I'm not so sure about the 3rd point. Are the 2nd and the 3rd the same? My channel was accepted for monetizing at like 200 total views. Is there any "next level"??

Also, how do partnerships protect you against click bombing which is apparently getting innoccent Youtubers' AdSense accounts banned frequently?

Can you protect yourself against click bombing without joining a network that takes a part of your earnings? So just by point 2 if it's not the same as point 3 in my list?

1) Yes
2) Yes , 2 and 3 are the same.
3) No there is not a 'next level'.
4) Some networks will offer more than others. Large networks might be able to communicate better with Youtube and help prevent click bombing.
5) No , you might need to join a network. Networks MIGHT offer protection but it by no means is guaranteed.

Sorry if anything that i said is incorrect. I am basing all of above on own knowledge based upon experience.

Thanks a lot Optic.

So IF everything above IS correct - Would you advise to wait with monetization till you have a lot of traffic to minimize the risk? How many clicks per video do you deem enough traffic?

1) yes however you lose more money than being on youtube adsense (just cuz it make sense).

2) yes but youtube does not offer paypal, all money goes into a real bank and all money must be reported to the irs.

3) yes its called video producer however websites offer many different rates and not many people are willing to buy videos.

4) network do not protect you at all, anything that happens to your channel is left to you and youtube. the network will not help you solve your problems.

5) the best way to protect yourself from click bombing is to report it to the police, however that only works if you losing income (money) that is $20 or more.

6) there is no good way to earn money on youtube, its the people who have the power. you are also trying to get people with adblock which mean you will have to forces on people who either use android or ipod/iphone to get money 9which is impossible to do).
