I recently got VideoPad Video Editor, because Windows Movie Maker Live just doesn't have the same capabilities, so, fr any users of VPV, how do I pause something? Like, how do I stop a video so it stays on that frame for a few seconds so I can say something during that frame? If that is too confusing, then what I mean is during the WaxVac commercial when the guy hurts his ear and then it pauses and says STOP. I need to know how to do this to complete my parody.
 
VideoPad can be a bit confusing at times, but this is what I would do to give this effect.
Split the clip where you want it paused.
On the frame you want to be paused, take a picture using the camera button under the sequence preview.
Import the image, then put it between the two clips and make it as long as you need.
