Question to All New at Youtube

Hi all, i want to post this question in my hope that all new youtubers myself included can share their experience with one another. I have seen many videos on youtube on how to increase views etc., and I'm sure one of their advise is to go for tags, facebook, twitter, and so on but for a beginner like myself on youtube can you share what you are doing to promote yourself perhaps if we can share one another thoughts then we can benefit from that.

As of this moment, I have 16 subs, around 2500 views and most of my videos I make have no feedback or comments so I am figuring out how to make things better.

I hope we all agree that the most difficult part will always be the start up, I highly appreciate your thoughts on this and hope you can share.

I post my videos on facebook and here, I do keyword research to see what the more popular videos are (that's why I made my shoe tying video - because I knew how to do it and it's also very popular right now for some reason) and from there choose the tags, recently also set one of my videos as a video response to another video.
This is not giving me all that much exposure as you'd hope, though, but I am following the tips Tyrone and Justin from 5minvideomarketing are giving, I suggest you check them out. I am also in their video marketing challenge so I have to follow the tips, and they promise 500,000 views in half a year using the tips they provide - I have trust in them, since they have even had their youtube and other websites on the first page of google, they really do know how to get views. They upload a new video every week, too. So, really do check them out - I actually know their tips work because I've gone from 262 views and 5 subs to 1,188 views and 17 subs in such a short time following their tips (and posting my videos on YTtalk, too).

I don't post my videos on Facebook because I don't have an account. But I post my videos here, I also log into my other channel which has around 260 contacts and send a mass message to them. Because the videos I make focus on Religion and Atheism, I submitted two of them as video responses to two videos by DarkMatter2525.

One of the things I do is place my youtube link on my signature so people I email perhaps will wonder what the heck this guy is doing in youtube.[DOUBLEPOST=1348103402,1348103355][/DOUBLEPOST]I

'll check out that video

The best advice I can give besides the above info; stay active on youtube. Watch and comment often on other people's videos. This site (yttalk) helps a lot too. Plus you meet a ton of awesome people that can help you as your channel grows.

i just started myself and wasnt doing well at all but im still getting used to it im not big into facebook and stuff so i couldnt really advertise my stuff on but i think the best thing is just talk to people on great forums like this or on youtube itself and people will just check your stuff out over time helping a lot to be an active member just my opinion though

If I may add on this thread a sub 4 sub would be a good idea if you are on the same niche and I would like to give that a try so if anyone is in the music box just let me know and we can exhange subs if you want.
