(question)minecraft 3d rig

So I have a 3d rig of minecraft steve but the eyes are not in the same place as my skin so when I put my skin on it, half the eyes are underneath the eyes in the rig. How would I make them at the same place? I've tried extruding them down the way but that doesn't work.

Any suggestions? Or do you know some good free rigs?
