If you are recording a boss fight with multiple phase is it better to:

A. Upload the whole fight to YouTube.
B. Separate the fight into multiples phases and upload each phase as its own video.

I think it depends on the fight if its a super long boss fight it may just be better to cut out repetitive parts of the fight entirely just to keep it all in one video, but if its just a fight where the boss doesn't take to long but just has different stages then there is no point in giving each stage its own video it will just seem repetitive. Unless you are losing where you may want to call it quits at one video and pick back up in the next video.

Depends.
I mean if you're playing Dark Souls or something where you win boss battles by doing the same thing for an hour, then nobody is gonna sit through that.
If each phase is drastically different, then yeah you can seperate it. If not, nah just use a lot of cuts and keep it in one video.

Depends on the phase lenght, and if there are cutesenes between the phases

I personally prefer 1 video with most repetitive parts or parts you have to repeat after death cut-out

Depends on so many variables. My default would be to keep it to one video. No need to draw it out in most cases. Make sure that you're editing it down, too. I don't want to watch anyone dodge, hack and slash for half an hour. I want to see the highlights.
