If I create a banner, can I use any images I'd like or do I have to be careful about using either royalty free images or crediting the owner? If I have to credit, how do I go about doing that?

Thanks..

I don't know if you actually have too... A lot of the stuff I use in my thumbnails is made by me, but I've never actually learned that. It'd be interesting to find out, though I don't believe you have to in most cases.

Okay thanks... Ya thumbnails too you reminded me. I used a pic of Finn and Jake from Adventure Time in a thumb and I was wondering if it mattered where i got it.

Not really no, I mean you might get a hit, depending, but thats pretty rare. Google search now has a filter where it only shows images you can use, but those suck, and theres also sites to get images like actual photos and stuff.

Hmm so just to get it straight... I don't have to credit and I can use any images? Like it's technically a no no, but not a big deal really?

Pretty much, I mean I mostly everyone dosen't see it as a big deal, but theirs always that one company.
Okay thanks:) Well I used GIMP to create this. I used a stock pencil image that has the company's name watermarked and another company's texture so I hope that's true. It's all good though. I'm not even sure if I'm going to stick with the name Doodle Junky.[DOUBLEPOST=1394599842,1394599560][/DOUBLEPOST]This is a thumbnail I used for a drawing video... Also using someone else's image.

Looks good, a little rough in the Doodle Junky font, and your tagline.
I don't think thumbnails matter, its only when you claim something as your own, you could get in trouble.

Here is something I did. The font is cleaner, and its good to have a stroke on something like a basic white test, to help it stand out, and idk, I just find it better to look at.
