Question about YouTube Premium

Does YouTube Premium apply to the whole Google account? or just one channel on it?
If I subscribe, will I be able to switch channels on the same account, and still receive the benefits?
 
It applies to the Google account, you are able to switch channels.

Note: if you have Premium and a friend, who has access to one of your channels, doesn't, they won't be able to see Premium content without a membership.
 
Yup. It works pretty much like YouTube Red did, and if you were originally a Red member, you get the same price as you paid for Red.
