So, I'm wanting to start a new video series on my channel called Analysis from the Arranger's Perspective. It's a series where I talk about how I arrange different pieces of classical music, going into things like how the instrumental texture changes as I go from one section of the piece to another, and making it look as though the arrangement is forming right before your eyes, even though it may have taken like anywhere from 3 days to 3 months or more. And I will also talk about why I find certain composers easier to arrange than others.

After my series introduction video that I'm working on right now, I plan on doing a Mozart arrangement video. I figured I should start with Mozart because:

  1. I find Mozart to be easier to arrange than many composers and can finish a Mozart arrangement in a matter of days. I've even finished one in a matter of hours once with the K 545 sonata.
  2. Out of all the composers I've arranged, the one with the highest number of my arrangements is Mozart.
  3. I just love Mozart's music. The way it seems effortless, almost improvisatory, and yet develops so much is amazing.
But I have a question. Should I start with a piece I've already arranged? Or should I start with a piece I haven't arranged yet? Or does it even matter since I finish my Mozart arrangements fast anyway?
